If your first question is "what is a breakout?", then you need to check out the following!

BreakoutEDU

Now consider an online version of the "physical" game that is played. That my friends, is a digital breakout!

DIGITAL BREAKOUTS
The BreakoutEDU site has several digital games you can try out (linked on the above button). I suggest starting with a level 1 or level 2 game. You can also check out the Tech Jedi Digital Breakout Carol created for the Tech Jedi training.

With the digital version, you do not need the box and locks -- but it is very dependent on computer/Internet. Another difference you will find, is the lack of provided answers to the digital versions.

Without contacting the game creator, you will know the lock remains locked when you see "try again" or "still locked" as in the top left image. Once the lock is "unlocked" it will have a green line underneath and provide no further feedback (see bottom left image). Not having access to lock codes is different from the physical games that come with all lock codes and instructions!

Once all the locks are opened, you can submit the form. Depending on the creator, you may have a certificate or badge of completion.
FAQ's
If you would like more information or have some questions, check out the FAQ section for Digital Breakouts. Or reach out to Carol.
